Hi to all our family and friends who make the trip to view our website and hello to all visitors who have just happened to put some obscure words into a search engine.  I can assure you all that you have not found a googlewack here but thanks for trying.

I hope the site will improve with age just like a good wine but if it doesn't please don't blame me, blame the bad wine that is keeping me away from updating it !!!!

My name is Mave and I am married to Kev.  We have two sons, Paul and Chris. 

Paul is in the Army currently serving with the Royal Engineers in Iraq and I'm sure he is missing his girlfriend Sophie.

Chris still lives at home and tries to take over the lounge whenever there is a big football match being shown on TV.  This can be a bit of a trial for him if Kev is at home as he detests football and he pays the TV licence!!!!

Kev would rather watch motor sport especially Rallying.  He and his mate Alistair have been building a rally car of their own for the last two years and have finally taken part in their very first rally together.  Well they did a stage until the engine complained and they had to retire.  Better luck with the next rally lads.

I, of course, totally support all of my boys in everything they do, just like the good wife and mother that I am.  All I ask is that they leave me alone when I am sewing, or cooking or reading or any of the things that are of far more interest to me than football or motor sport.  You know , things like cleaning the oven!!!!!!
